GENERAL INFORMATION
EVENT STARTING AT 7:30 P.M.
Depending on the number of registrants, it will be held in one or two sessions
OBJECTIVE: The event focuses on the heaviest catch across all species, awarding prizes for the top three (3) catches.
PERMITTED FISHING EQUIPMENT: Anglers must provide their own equipment and may use a maximum of two single hooks, with a sinker and a float attached to the main line (not to the leaders).
BAIT. Any bait may be used at the angler’s discretion, except for those classified as endangered species, namely sea worms and razor clams. The use of groundbait, with or without a bait roller, is not permitted.
FISHING METHOD. Bottom fishing is required, with the sinker resting on the sand. Moving the line is permitted, but “fly fishing” is not allowed.
CATCHES. All caught fish will be counted, except for the Chucho and endangered species. If a guitarfish is caught, it may be counted as a valid catch but must be released (as it is a species at risk or vulnerable).

PLAYER REGISTRATION FEE
A team staff member is an official member of the team who is NOT a player, coach, or delegate.
For example, this could be an assistant coach, massage therapist, physical therapist, etc.
Up to three extra team staff members will be allowed per team in addition to the 14 players.
The registration fee for each assistant will be $ USD.
They will receive the same benefits as players, except that they will not be allowed to play.
EXTRA TEAM STAFF
A companion is someone who is not part of the team but accompanies the team (family members, friends, etc.).
Each companion would have to pay $ USD.
They will receive the same benefits, discounts, gifts, free kit, and access to the games and social party.
They will NOT receive a participation diploma or medal and will not be able to join the team benches during the games.
