ABOUT COMPETITION
CATEGORIES
According to World Aquatics Masters regulations, age is considered to be that reached on December 31, 2026, for each category.
ALL ABOUT THE COMPETENCE

In open waters, the registration fee is very affordable!

Each participant must choose only one of the distances listed.
-
If the water temperature is below 18°C, competitors must wear a wetsuit; if the temperature exceeds 18°C, they must wear a competition swimsuit.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 29. 7 a.m. accreditation, 8 a.m. start
-
The heats and heats will be seeded based on the times reported by each swimmer. Results will be ranked by category and gender.

The current Word Aquatic Masters regulations will apply. Any unforeseen circumstances will be resolved by the event’s Technical Committee. Supervision will be carried out by FENBAS (Southern Buenos Aires Swimming Federation).

Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each category and event. The awards ceremony will take place during the competition.
Special awards will be presented for tournament records, and prizes will be awarded for the men’s and women’s technical marks with the highest quality index relative to the world record for that category.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
Swimmers will have access to the following services at an additional cost:
Private rooms with massage therapists
Physical therapists for personalized care focused on injury prevention, treatment,
and recovery.
Biomechanical swim analysis service.
The analysis includes:

Underwater and aerial video recording.

Body position and alignment.

Stroke trajectory and frequency.

Joint angles (shoulder, elbow, knee).

Speed of movement.

Propulsion and glide phases.

Symmetry and coordination between arms and legs
GENERAL PROVISIONS
• Hats must be worn.
• Entry to the competition area will not be permitted without proper identification.
• Schedules may be adjusted depending on the number of registrants.
• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify technical or
administrative aspects of the event.
• Detailed rules and regulations for the World Aquatic Masters will be sent out in due course.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
The early payment discount applies to all athletes.
By paying this registration fee, you can participate in all competitions permitted by the rules.
REGISTRATION FEE
ATHLETES FOR OPEN WATERS
A team staff member is an official member of the team who is NOT a player, coach, or delegate.
For example, this could be an assistant coach, massage therapist, physical therapist, etc.
Up to three extra team staff members will be allowed per team in addition to the 14 players.
The registration fee for each assistant will be $ USD.
They will receive the same benefits as players, except that they will not be allowed to play.
EXTRA TEAM STAFF
A companion is someone who is not part of the team but accompanies the team (family members, friends, etc.).
Each companion would have to pay $ USD.
They will receive the same benefits, discounts, gifts, free kit, and access to the games and social party.
They will NOT receive a participation diploma or medal and will not be able to join the team benches during the games.
